The new Touareg FINAL EDITION

The front of the Touareg FINAL EDITION is defined by a horizontal light strip that connects the IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights. The Volkswagen logo on the rear glows red when the light is switched and is accentuated by a light strip.

When you unlock the doors, the area lighting projects the Volkswagen logo onto the ground – and the Touareg greets you with a distinctive light projection (part of the coming home and leaving home animation).

The tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof spans practically the entire roof surface, providing even more freedom and also offering the rear seat passengers an undisturbed view of the sky.

The exclusive FINAL EDITION lettering is stylishly embossed on the gear lever and in the illuminated decorative trim as well as on the illuminated sill panel mouldings. All eyes are drawn to the large curved display of the infotainment system, which shows you all the important information at a glance.

The ergoComfort seats in the Touareg FINAL EDITION ensure a relaxed and comfortable drive. The seats have leather seat cushions and side bolsters and can be electrically adjusted in 18 positions – including 4-way lumbar support, which relieves strain on the back and prevents tension. You can use the memory function to save your preferred settings.

The background lighting is available optionally in 30 colours and allows you to adjust the lighting atmosphere in the interior to suit the mood. The interior areas can be illuminated in two different colours. The displays also adjust to the colour setting.

The curved glass surface combines the Discover Pro Max with its 38.1 cm (15 inch) touchscreen and the 31.2 cm (12.3 inch) Digital Cockpit in one unit. In addition to the speed, you can also see the navigation, for example, or the song that is currently being played.

Comfortable access

Thanks to Keyless Access, your Touareg FINAL EDITION unlocks and locks the doors automatically – you can leave the key in your pocket, a touch of the door handle is all it takes. And the engine can also be started and stopped without a key.

The perfect closing

Doors left ajar can be closed effortlessly with the power latching system. An electric motor gently closes the door for you, without you needing to exert additional force. This is especially practical in tight parking spaces if the momentum is insufficient to close the door fully.

Agile steering

The optional all-wheel steering makes driving even more comfortable and agile. At low speeds, the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels, thus reducing the turning circle by more than one metre – particularly handy in narrow streets or when parking.

Higher, lower, more comfortable

Experience comfort at a higher level with adaptive air suspension. The vehicle quickly adapts to your needs and the conditions on the road. From a speed of 120 km/h, it lowers automatically by 15 mm to improve the aerodynamics. At over 210 km/h, it lowers by a further 10 mm to give additional stability.

For anyone with big moves in mind

With the towing bracket, the Touareg FINAL EDITION effortlessly draws up to 3.5 t – whether it’s a boat trailer or horse trailer. And thanks to Trailer Assist, support is on hand when manoeuvring. The electric towing bracket is kept out of sight under the rear and can be automatically folded out and locked back into place at the touch of a button when needed.

Driver assist systems

The optional Travel Assist actively helps you to stay in lane. In addition, it helps you to maintain a previously set maximum speed and minimum distance to the vehicle in front.

Park Assist Pro

Not only can the optional Park Assist Pro tell you as you pass by whether a parking space is big enough – it can also drive into the parking space for you. Up to a speed of 40 km/h, it will search for suitable parallel parking spaces – parking bays up to a speed of 20 km/h. Once you have decided on one of the parking spaces found, you can start the parking process.

Front Cross Traffic Assist

The optional Front Cross Traffic Assist can help you when approaching unclear junctions and exits by warning you acoustically and visually about other vehicles. If necessary, it can even apply emergency braking automatically to avoid an accident.
