Performance
Depending on the battery capacity, the ID.7 offers an all-electric range of up to 700 km and is thus equipped for practically any non-stop journey. You can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in under 30 minutes, get on the road again swiftly and drive for longer with the most efficient vehicle in its class: thanks to sophisticated battery management and aerodynamic design, the ID.7 only consumes 13 kWh/100km.⁠*

Panorama roof  "smart glass"
The optional electric “Smart Glass” panoramic sunroof of the new ID.7 (Tourer) provides a heavenly view. The large glass roof is both a real eyecatcher, and can be conveniently controlled with a swipe over a function button in the headliner or by voice control, and can be changed optionally to transparent or opaque. The light transmission is controlled via electrochromic voltage.

Space concept
More space for sports equipment, luggage and everything you need for active weekends.  With the option of adjusting the angle of the rear bench seat, the vehicle’s interior can be organised more comfortably for longer journeys, while at the same time you can adjust the seating and storage space volumes just as you wish. Depending on which rear seats you fold down, the volume of the storage space can be increased from about 545 litres to up to 1,714 litres, which emphasises the benefit of the optimised car design and provides you even more flexibility. There is also the option of using the cargo position, which increases the trunk volume up to 605 liters without having to give up the full use of the five seats. The modified body style of the ID.7 Tourer provides more headroom in the second row of seats compared to the saloon, which further increases passenger comfort.
The optionally available “Easy Open/Close” feature is a further highlight. It allows the luggage compartment lid to be opened and closed with a simple foot gesture – no hands needed.

ErgoPremium seat with massage programmes and dynamic air conditioning
The new front seats combine seating comfort with innovative massage programmes, automatic air conditioning and an innovative activation function for muscle groups on the spine and pelvis. The pressure point massage and for the first time the pelvis activation can boost the blood circulation and release tension, and therefore increase well-being, especially on long journeys. The massage function is provided by the programme-controlled pressure build-up and reduction of the air pockets. Along with the backrest, here for the first time there are also air pockets in the seat cushion. 
Alternatively your Volkswagen will also organise the pamper programme: The Wellness In-Car app activates an interaction of various comfort features and transforms your ID. into feel-good oasis – whether you are driving, parking or charging.

Ambient lighting
Give your ID.7 Tourer more personality. Choose from ten standard colours (30 colours are available as an option) and gently illuminate the interior. Visually illuminated decorative trims on the dash panel, door trim and mobile phone holder create a special lighting mood. It’s up to you whether you choose cooler or warm lighting.

Interior design concept
The new ID.7 Tourer provides plenty of space for up to five passengers and thanks to premium materials and features such as background lighting or the optional electric dimmable “Smart Glass” panoramic sunroof exudes the lounge character of a luxury estate with especially generous spaciousness. The standard interior of the new ID.7 Tourer has a high proportion of special materials and is also full of recycled materials.

Climatronic for the seats
 The optional ergoActive premium seats offer automatic climate control. Here, the seat cushion and the backrest can be heated or ventilated independently of each other. Through the interaction of these functions, the seat can independently set your own personal feel-good seat climate in automatic mode. How this is possible? Temperature and humidity are measured in the contact zone between the seat and the person, checked against other climate-relevant factors and favoured settings such as “warm back” and then used to calculate your individual feel-good climate. You will never be sweaty when getting out of your car again. In addition to automatic mode, you can choose between three Smart Climates: from hot to dry to cool. Experience total comfort to leave you feeling fit and fresh even on long journeys.
The passengers in the back also enjoy the comfort of being able to heat the seat cushions in three stages.

IQ.LIGHT
Even at first glance, the new ID.7 shines with a genuine highlight: the innovative IQ.LIGHT. The matrix technology enables you to permanently drive with main beam without dazzling other road users. An elegant light strip extends between the attractively shaped LED matrix headlights and the Volkswagen logo. When you approach your vehicle, the headlights light up briefly as if winking at you, making the ID.7 appear almost human.
What creates an impression at the front should naturally also be present at the rear: The package includes the optional 3D LED tail light clusters with animated brake light and integrated dynamic turn signal, which indicates the intended direction with a dynamic flowing light movement.

Online-Voice assistant
The new online IDA voice assistant allows you to conveniently operate the radio, telephone, your music, the optional three-zone air conditioning system and optional navigation unit with your voice. For example, you can select the radio station or choose the address book entry or telephone number you’re looking for with your voice.
The voice assistant can be started with “Hello IDA”. It also understands free formulations from everyday life such as “I’m cold.” or “Where are there Japanese restaurants in Berlin?”. In addition, thanks to digital microphones, it now also recognises whether the driver or the passenger is speaking, in order, for example, to provide the air conditioning in the vehicle specifically to the person making the request.

The new IDA voice assistant will also appear visually to you in the future on the centre display, with interactions enabled via graphics. The optimised system also asks questions or lets itself be interrupted.

IDA likewise allows you to access world knowledge made available via Internet partners (e.g. Wikipedia).*
